Advantech Ppc
upgrading built-in graphics with a PCI card?
Ok, so i picked up an Advantech PPC-153T all-in-one touchscreen computer, I want to put Windows 7 Beta on it, however, it only has 16mb of VRAM and when i try to boot the 7 disk, i get all kinds of weird lines across the screen. Now i’m pretty sure at some point in time, i found a PCI card that didn’t have any ports out, but it would act as your internal graphics card. I am unable to find one, any help?
And to those who question the system requirements of Windows 7, i am running 7 on a 2.0 GHZ P4 with 512 RAM and 32MB of VRAM and it runs great, and i have found proof on youtube of people running it on a P3, it has 512 RAM stock, so the only issue is the VRAM
I’ve searched, but can’t seem to find anything on the graphics card you’re looking for. Even if I did, I’m not sure it would work. The power supply on the AC model is only 80W, and the DC model is 74W. Here’s a PDF file that has the specs on that all-in-one wonder.
