If your wife/girlfriend came with a manual, would you read it?
If your wife/girlfriend wrote you a manual about herself, would you read it? I mean a specific how to, “almost” fail-proof manual to give you tips and facts that pertain directly to her not something written by some weirdo crackpot who has been divorced 3 times. (unless your wife is that weirdo crackpot)
If so, what do you think should be included? Men what would you like outlined better? Women, what do you think would eliminate issues if you outlined it?
I do not mean just me, or what is your opinion in my situation, I mean in general would men read it? This would be something that couples who feel confident in their future could possibly use as a tool, but would it get used?
And really, what should be in it if you did read it?
The normal protocol is that when two people make a relationship serious, they start to exchange verbal manuals.
What they like or dislike
What they value or not value
What the respect or disrespect
Who they are
Their histories including sexual history if they have any
Their favourites, food, music, colours, etc
Their belief systems, religious, social, philosophical, etc
Their feelings for each other
Their sexual preferences when having sex. This is where a lot of minute details are necessary on both sides. You need to listen, observe, take notes, ask clarification questions, practice, ask for feedback, watch for feedback, etc.
Moods range,
etc.
With this the manual is nearly complete after about 5 years. Thereafter you have it in your head and all that is left is fine edits.
